Who we are

KOVA Fitness ("we", "us") operates this website and is building the KOVA Fitness app. For anything in this policy, contact support@kova.fitness.

What we collect today

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, the time you signed up, and — if your visit came from a campaign link — basic attribution values (UTM source, medium, campaign, and the referring page). Separately, as you browse, we collect anonymous usage analytics, described below. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.

Analytics

We use PostHog, a product-analytics tool, to understand how the site is used and to measure how many visitors join the waitlist. As you browse, it records page views and basic on-page interactions, and stores a random identifier in your browser’s local storage so it can recognise repeat visits within your browser — this is first-party storage, not a third-party or advertising cookie. We do not record your screen, and we do not collect your name or contact details through analytics. Interactive tools such as the 1RM calculator are explicitly excluded from analytics capture, so the numbers you type into them are never sent. Analytics data is processed by PostHog on our behalf and hosted in the United States.

Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site. Because it uses first-party storage, carries no directly identifying information, and runs no advertising, we treat it as low-risk to your privacy. You can opt out by using a browser or extension that blocks analytics requests, or by emailing support@kova.fitness and we will help.

How we use it

Your email is used for one purpose: telling you about KOVA's launch and early-access availability. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing support@kova.fitness — we will delete your entry.

Where it lives

Waitlist entries are stored in our database hosted by Supabase. Usage analytics are processed and stored by PostHog in the United States. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until the launch-notification cycle completes, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first. Usage analytics are retained only as long as they are useful for understanding how the site performs.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the data we hold about you. Email support@kova.fitness and we will handle it.

The app

When the KOVA Fitness app launches, it will have its own data practices (accounts, workout data, crash reporting) and this policy will be updated before then. One principle carries over: your training data is yours — the app supports CSV export so you can take it with you at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
